Aboissa - Óleos vegetais

A soja é uma leguminosa domesticada pelos chineses a cerca de cinco mil anos . Sua espécie mais antiga , a soja selvagem ,crescia principalmente nas terras baixas e úmidas , junto aos juncos nas proximidades dos lagos e rios da China Central . Há três mil anos a soja se espalhou pela Ásia , onde começou a ser utiliza do como alimento . Foi no início do século XX que passou a ser cultivada comercialmente nos Estados Unidos.

Apartir de então, houve um rápido crescimento na produção , com o desenvolvimento das primeiras cultivares comerciais.

No Brasil , o grão chegou com os primeiros imigrantes japoneses em 1908, mas foi introduzida oficialmente no Rio Grande do Sul em 1914. Porém, a expansão da soja no Brasil aconteceu nos anos 70, com o interesse crescente da indústria de óleo e demanda do mercado internacional.

The pod of soybean was domesticated by the chinese about five thousand years ago. The wild soybean is the oldest especimen of soybean and grew in the moist lowlands with the reeds nearby the  lakes of the central China. In about three thousand years ago the utilization of soybean as  food spread in the asian continent .
    It was in the early XX century that the U.S began planting soybean for commercial purposes.In Brazil the soybean was brought by japanese immigrants in 1908 but it was officialy introduced in Rio Grande do Sul by the year of 1914.But the expansion of soybean in brazil occured in the late 70´s with the crescent demmand of the oil industries and the worldwide market.
