According to the organizers, the next edition of the event should exceed the numbers of 500 exhibiting brands and 44 thousand visitors.

Since the International Monetary Fund (IMF) projected growth of 3.2% for the world's Gross Domestic Product (GDP), both in 2024 and 2025, with Brazil expanding its economy by 2.2% in 2024 and 2.1% in 2025, supply, production and distribution chains have invested in logistics solutions to gain efficiency and cope with the increase in volumes of all types of cargo produced and transported around the world.
The IMF also released projections that place Brazil in 8th position among the largest global economies in 2024, with a gain in strength at domestic and international levels, which adds even more pressure to the country's transportation matrix and logistics infrastructure.
The rush by cargo shippers to develop reliable and efficient logistics networks also precipitates investments among multimodal operators to improve the solutions they offer. Proof of this is the constant search by companies operating in the logistics scenario for networking, business and technical development opportunities.
The largest business and content meeting in the logistics ecosystem in Latin America, Intermodal South America assumes, in this context, a role of strategic importance: connecting shippers to the most innovative solutions for multimodal logistics, intralogistics, foreign trade, multimodal transport and cargo management.
In 2025, the event will take place from April 22 to 24, in the new Anhembi District. The change of pavilion was due to the growth in the number of exhibiting companies seen this year, when it brought together in an area of 40 thousand square meters, more than 500 exhibiting brands from 15 countries.
New address, new participants
“The Anhembi District allowed Intermodal to grow in area, enabling the participation of several companies that were on the waiting list this year. The number of companies that returned to exhibit and also those that will participate in the event for the first time is surprising,” says business manager from Intermodal South America, Fernando D'Ascola.
The executive refers to the brands that are returning to the group of exhibitors and those that are making their debut at Intermodal South America 2025. “These are companies with great standing in the multimodal logistics scene, such as FedEx, Paletrans, JAS, Blu Logistics, Braspress, Eternity Group, Pacific International Lines, Pibernat Logística, Baggio, Kinay, Americas Alliance & Ealog, Toyota Empilhadeiras, among many others, which will contribute to making the 29th edition of the event even richer in terms of networking and offering logistics solutions. This impressive group of companies will certainly attract a larger audience than the one that visited the event this year,” concludes D'Ascola. The 28th edition of Intermodal South America, held this year, received a record audience of more than 44 thousand professionals over three days.
In addition to the exhibition area, Intermodal South America offers an intense program of content events. This year, the 2nd INTERLOG SUMMIT was held during the three days of Intermodal South America 2024 and featured two simultaneous congresses (XXVII CNL – National Logistics Conference, held by ABRALOG (Brazilian Logistics Association) and Intermodal South America Congress), which added up to four content tracks (panels, lectures and cases). There were 30 hours of content, with 90 speakers and 500 congress attendees over the three days of the event.
