Fishmeal can be obtained through the processing of whole fish or fish parts (waste). It is a high quality ingredient, rich in amino acids, palatable and with a very high energy content. That is why it is used as an ingredient in the manufacture of balanced feed for non-ruminant animals, being included in poultry, pig, fish and pet food diets.
