Cottonseed oil, removed from the seed, is produced in two main ways: by mechanical pressing and by solvent extraction, the most used method being the mixed process, where the two processes are combined.
This oil is used in various industrial fields such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, etc.
Furthermore, cottonseed oil, in its raw form, is aimed at the spraying market and is used as a raw material for Biodiesel. In its refined form, it is aimed at the food service market. In addition to yielding 4x more than other frying oils, it has vitamin E, Omega 3 and 6, 0% Trans Fat and no Cholesterol.
