The National Energy Policy Council (CNPE) increased the blend of biodiesel in diesel from 10% to 12% this Friday (17). The measure will come into effect in April.
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva participated in the CNPE meeting.
The body should decide on a gradual increase in the mixture in the coming years, with the level rising to 13% in 2024, 14% in 2025 and 15% in 2026.
