High oil prices maintain corn appreciation – Agrolink Analysis

The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 0.50 cents of Dollar in March/17 contracts on Tuesday (13.12), closing at US$ 3.61 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions on the CBOT closed the session with slight increases between 0.50 and 1.75 points.

The North American corn market had another day of slight gains in the main futures prices, still supported by the rise in oil prices. Prices just didn't rise further because there are signs that South America will place a lot of grains on the global market in the coming months.
