Brazil will export cattle to Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa) signed, on the afternoon of this Friday (22), a Zoosanitary Certificate with Kazakhstan so that Brazil can export live cattle to the country. The document was signed by the Secretary of Agricultural Defense of Mapa, José Guilherme Leal and by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Gulmira Isayeva.

“This agreement represents yet another opening of the market for the export of Brazilian cattle. It is a recognition of Brazil’s high genetic standard,” commented the Secretary of Agricultural Defense of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply, José Guilherme Leal.

The meeting took place at the Secretariat of Agricultural Defense with the participation of representatives of the Secretariat of Trade and International Relations, who received the delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan to negotiate the animal health requirements for the export of live cattle.

“It is very important for our country to develop cooperation with Brazil in the agricultural sector. The signing paves the way for cooperation in trade between the countries,” said Kazakhstan’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture Gulmira Isayeva.
