In Presidente Prudente (SP), Munir Aboissa is born. His father, the engineer Munir Aboissa, manages a plant of SANBRA - Sociedade Algodoeira do Nordeste Brasileiro (Cottonseed Society of Northeastern Brazil) - current Bunge, where he is responsible for the construction and improvement of plants to extract vegetable oils from all over Brazil.
Engineer Munir Aboissa founds De Smet do Brasil, a Belgian company, which expertise is the construction of factories, especially extraction and refining of vegetable oils. He is responsible for the construction of more than 150 factories of vegetable oils, alcohol mills and silos until his retirement in 1989.
At the invitation of his father, Munir Aboissa joins De Smet do Brasil and begins to know the universe of vegetable oils.
Young Munir Aboissa is invited to work at one of the largest soybean brokers in the world; Kaufman Representations, where he becomes a trainee.
Due to the success of the work developed by Munir in the soap industry, his customers start to demand other products and he joins Mercantil Corretora, in order to get to know the demands of his clients better.
Munir Aboissa believes that the biggest differential in a broker's job is the closeness, and the deep knowledge of its market. Unfortunately, he does not have the necessary support of his leaders.
On August 3rd, believing he could execute a distinct work, Munir Aboissa founded Aboissa on Tupan building, at Largo do Arouche, 396, 2nd floor, in the capital city of São Paulo, where Aboissa is still located today.
Opening of the operational table of Aboissa and Lucia, Munir’s wife, fills the position of financial director of the company.
Acquisition of the second commercial unit in the building that Aboissa occupies.
Start of the Commercial Representation for the American company Oil Dri in the market of Bleaching Earth. And after 21 years, such partnership is finalized by the end of 2018.
Aboissa developments the import of palm and palm kern from Latin America, previously only originated from Asia.
Aboissa begins representing Nickel Catalysts in Brazil developing customers and market expertise.
Aboissa's facilities are now one and a half floors along with 30 employees.
Aboissa carries out the largest bulk export of Soybean Fatty Acid ever made in Brazil through the port of Santos to Europe.
Aboissa leads the opening of the "Non Foods" market for Bunge in the resale of palm and palm kern oil and starts the partnership with Almad as the official distributor of Oil Dri's Bleaching Land in Brazil.
Aboissa carries out a major restructuring and reaches the mark of 60 employees.
The Brazilian economy is impacted by 2008 American crisis and Aboissa reaches its hightest number of employees with 92 people.
Aboissa accomplishes the first and largest export of soy isotanks of Soybean Acid already made in Brazil from Santos to Rotterdan, making the company the greatest one in this modal for Soybean Acid.
Aboissa closes an agreement with the company Biopalma to provide a technical consulting service for 2 years and the commercial representation to open a local market for 1 year and a half.
Aboissa is representing the commodities line of Solazyme, a pioneer company in the development of seaweed oil, and becomes the pioneer in the export of cotton oil from Bahia to Asia in container.
Aboissa creates a partnership with ClickPalm, Colombian company, to introduce the system in the Brazilian market as a representative and becomes the pioneer in the export of Corn Oil in flexitank origin Brazil.
Aboissa turns 30, and makes a series of changes aiming continuous improvement. It consolidates itself as the "largest exporter" of corn oil in Latin America, in addition to producing the first export of cotton oil from Brazil to Europe.
Year of great development to Aboissa within the international market. Aboissa also purchases a new integrated system of ERP, CRM and BI to serve its clients better.
Aboissa begins immersion in the digital market and focuses more and more on the closeness to its customers launching the #aboissaeverywhere campaign.
