In Santa Catarina, deals ranged from R$ 62.00 to R$ 63.50, moving the midwest and west of the state. Producers requested at least R$ 2.00 above offers, with buyers offering from R$ 60.00 in the interior and between R$ 63.00 and R$ 64.00 CIF for factories. “There were rumors of deals at R$ 64.00/64.50 CIF west. The indications for Chapecó were R$ 62.00, Campos Novos at R$ 64.00 and Rio do Sul also at R$ 64.00. In the midwest, corn was negotiated at R$ 62.00 CIF, with 2 thousand tons delivered in September. Western Paraná and Mato Grosso do Sul: Prices and negotiations
In the West of Paraná, business was spotty, while prices at the port increased, but without many offers. “Business reported at the port was R$ 63.00 for September, R$ 64.00 for November and R$ 65.00 for December. In the north of the state, the indications were R$ 57.00, Cascavel at R$ 56.00, Campos Gerais at R$ 59.00 and Guarapuava at R$ 58.00. In the southwest, counter prices were R$ 52.00, while in the north and west they were R$ 54.00, and in the center-west R$ 55.00. Rumors indicate negotiations in the west of the state, with specific lots sold between R$ 57.50 and R$ 58.00, with immediate CIF delivery”, indicated the analysis.
In Mato Grosso do Sul, prices rose. In Maracaju, the indications were R$ 53.00 (+R$ 1.00), in Dourados the prices reached R$ 54.00 (+R$ 1.00) and in Naviraí they were at R$ 54.00 (-R$ 1.00). In São Gabriel, the offers reached R$ 49.00. “Producers started the FOB offers at R$ 52.00, but most of the orders are concentrated at R$ 55.00, based in the interior.
