Corn falls with uncertainty in the international market – Agrolink Analysis

The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 1.25 cents in March/17 contracts on Friday (27/01), closing at US$ 3.625 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions on the CBOT closed the session with devaluations between 1.25 and 1.50 points.

At the end of the week, the North American corn market recorded further drops in the main futures prices. This is a time of uncertainty on the international scene: on the one hand, China is reviewing its cereal stock maintenance policy, and on the other, there is fear that possible protectionist decisions by the Trump administration will provoke reprisals on buyers in the United States – including Mexico. .
