Soybean prices continue to rise strongly – Agrolink Analysis

The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 16.25 cents on the Chicago Grain Exchange on Wednesday (1st.03) in the March/17 contract, closing at US$ 10.4125 per bushel. The May/17 contract rose 16.00 cents per dollar, while the July/17 contract rose 15.50 cents per dollar. 

The North American soybean market recorded another day of strong gains in the main futures prices, still supported by speculation surrounding President Donald Trump's speech on Monday (27/02). Despite no concrete announcement, the United States president indicated an increase in the use of biofuels and encouraged investors to buy commodities.
