Corn price falls sharply again in Chicago – Agrolink Analysis

The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 3.75 cents in May/17 contracts on Wednesday (08.03), closing at US$ 3.7225 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions on the CBOT closed the session with devaluations between 3.5 and 4.25 points.

The North American corn market suffered another session of heavy losses in the main futures prices, pressured by the large supply in South America and an adverse macroeconomic scenario. The Dollar continues to strengthen against several world currencies, at the same time that investors test the decrease in commodity price levels.
