Cotton Bran 28%

Cotton bran 28% is a by-product derived from cotton ginning obtained by crushing the seeds and extracting the oil. The high protein value of the bran makes it an excellent ingredient for animal feed. The inclusion of more or less husk (fiber) from the cotton seed will determine the percentage of protein, which could be 28% or 38%. The difference between 28% cottonseed meal is that in the diets of monogastric or ruminant animals it is a good alternative for reducing food costs, as it can be used as a protein source and a replacement for soybean meal.
