Soy ends the week on a strong rise – Agrolink Analysis

The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 15.50 cents on Friday (16.09) in the November/16 contract, closing at US$ 9.66 per bushel. The January/17 contract also rose 15.50 cents per dollar, while the March/17 contract rose 15.00 cents per dollar.

The North American soybean market recorded another day of gains in the main futures prices at the close of last week. There is a strong speculative movement due to the arrival of rain amid the end of the 2016/17 harvest, with the intention that the oilseed will return to the level of US$ 10 per bushel.
