Soy maintains price in Chicago

The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 0.50 cents of Dollar on Wednesday (23.08) in the November/17 contract, closing at US$ 9.38 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity maturities on the CBOT also closed the session with valuations between 0.50 and 1.50 points.

 

Another session of slight fluctuations in the positive field in the main futures prices in the North American soybean market, supported by the lower development of soybeans observed in the Farm Journal Midwest Crop Tour. According to the participants' report, the oilseed in the states of Illinois and Iowa has a lower number of pods both in relation to 2016 and also compared to the average of the last three years.
