Soy remains on the rise with Chinese demand – Agrolink Analysis

The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 4.25 cents in the January/17 contract on Tuesday (06.12), reaching US$ 10.4775 per bushel. The March/17 contract rose 5.50 cents per dollar, while the May/17 contract rose 5.00 cents per dollar.

Another day of gains in the main futures prices of the North American soybean market, supported by strong demand for the oilseed from the United States. China continues to buy large quantities of grains, and there is an expectation that the next supply and demand report from the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) will have an upward bias.
