Canola oil

Canola, obtained through the genetic improvement of rapeseed, is a species of oilseed belonging to the cruciferous family. Its name comes from the English Canadian Oil Low Acid. From the cruciferous extraction process, we have canola oil, composed mainly of monounsaturated fats and rich in Omega 3 oils.

Because it is rich in unsaturated fats, canola oil helps balance cholesterol and, as it has a low level of saturated fats, it is good for the heart and maintaining blood pressure. The application of this oil extends to several food industries, such as: cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, animal feed, biodiesel, among others.
