Founded in 1987 by Munir Aboissa, the company Aboissa has operated since its foundation in the same building, in the central region of São Paulo, in Largo do Arouche. With approximately 60 employees, the company works with specialized teams by product segment. For the grease sector, for example, there is the Animal Profat unit, responsible for the entire animal protein and fat market, offering personalized service. In its portfolio there are more than 160 products. including oils, bran, proteins, fats and grains of vegetable and animal origin. Recently, natural ingredients such as dehydrated vegetables were included in the mix. condiments and spices.

Over the years, Munir Aboissa – present in the oils and fats market since 1979 when he joined his father's company, De Smel, specialized in the development of plants for the extraction and processing of oils and fats – continued to invest in improvements, always with the objective to bring the best possible service to the market. Advances in infrastructure and the increase in the team not only in quantity, but also in quality, according to Munir, allowed his company to stand out in the market. being a pioneer in many businesses, especially with regard to imports and exports.

Last year, when the company celebrated 30 years, there were also a series of investments and changes. which included everything from the renewal of visual communication to adjustments to its mission. vision and values, in addition to creating more than 30 new processes. In 2018, investments continue. In the first quarter alone, 17% expanded the team and purchased a new system (ERP, CRM and BI) that will provide productivity gains and support the company's new moment. aiming at sustainable growth and the international market. Munir remembers that the macroeconomic and, mainly, political scenario of the last three years ended up affecting the polishing segment and, consequently, the business, but with information, discipline, organization and planning the company moved forward and now the market as a whole enters in a more promising and optimistic phase. “We are convinced that only those brokers who specialize and seek to deliver added value to clients and not simply offer prices will remain in the market. Another relevant change in the business world is that we increasingly see that there is no room for a lack of ethics, with only truly committed companies remaining in the market”, analyzes Munir.
