Valtra presents more efficient electronic engines for 800 Series harvesters at Coopavel 2017

The new AGCO Power electronic engines will be the highlight of Valtra's Series 800 harvesters, a global reference in agricultural machinery manufacturing. The BC6800 and BC8800 machines will be on display between February 6th and 10th at the Show Rural Coopavel 2017 agricultural fair, in Cascavel (PR).

Following the technical specifications of Proconve MAR-1, the BC6800, BC7800 and BC8800 axial harvesters feature the innovative Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system, which offers gains in nominal potential and maintenance of fuel consumption. Together, these factors contribute to making the machine more economical for the farmer, maintaining high power in the field.

“In engineering tests, Valtra Series 800 machines managed to reduce the consumption levels of non-emission engines compared to older models, one of the great advantages of Valtra harvesters”, says Fernando Petroli, AGCO Harvesters Product Marketing Supervisor.

The axial processing system also has the largest rotor on the market, concave with suspension and larger threshing and separation areas, which generates greater harvesting capacity for all types of crops. Valtra also offers a technological and innovation package for precision agriculture, available for all 800 Series harvesters: Fieldstar II productivity monitor, Auto-Guide 3000 autopilot and AgCommand® telemetry, technologies designed to increase productivity and facilitate control of the harvest to the producer.

“Thanks to the exclusive V-Flow cooling system, which eliminates the need for daily maintenance, and the highest unloading speed in the world, which reaches 150 L/s in classes 7 and 8, our harvesters guarantee fuel savings and lower time with the machine stopped, which can be used in harvesting work”, adds Petroli.

Platforms

Valtra combines are available from the factory with Draper platforms from 25 to 40 feet, entirely produced in Brazil. With high technology, rubber belts transport grains more efficiently, reducing harvest losses. The machines also have greater grain processing and separation capacity.

At Coopavael, Valtra will present, together with the harvesters, the 30 and 40 foot Series 600FD (Draper) flexible platforms. The farmer can also choose the 600F Series (snail) or those specific to corn crops, in the L, M and Hichopper versions.
